As a senior, you will soon be graduating from junior high school. You may be scared of entering a high school where you have never been to and you may be scared of a completely new part of your life. In my opinion here are some advices I would like to advise you.

First, never put off till tomorrow what may be done today. The schoolwork of high school is many enough that you almost can’t finish in a day. If you delay any homework you may be fallen behind and your scores may be bad or you will fail on this subject. Although writing homework and preparing for test is boring, it can help you learn much more clearly.

Second, joining some activities is one of the most important parts during high school time. If you join a school club you may know more people, you can try something different from schoolwork and it can also increase your experiences and let your high school life more interesting.

Third, keep being happy and optimistic, whatever what you have done or teachers blame at you, you should not be scared of accepting their advices or caring about the criticism all day long or being unhappy to your friends. What you need to do is accepting their advices and correcting them. The most important thong I would like to tell you guys are that every day is a happy day, you do not have to be too nervous to high school life.

According to my words, I think what you need to do during high school time is never put off till tomorrow what may be done today and joining some activities and also being happy and optimistic then I think your high school time will be good. In the end, I have to say that I wish you can do your best and having fun in your high school time.

Hello, Eva. It has been a long time not seeing each other. How was your day recently? My life is still exciting. I often go out with my family on the weekend escept for one thing.

I got some problems in these day. I find that my friends start to leave me, but I do not know why. I have tried to ask them the reasons, but they just said they did not leave me and they think I was thinking too much. Actually I do not know what to do right now. Should I change something or just be myself? It really anniyed me. Hope you can write me back soon.

Have you ever thought about being a leader? What kinds of traits make you a leader? In our life, it seems that to be a leader is a dream far from us, so if we wanted to be a leader, what kind of traits should we have?
I think a leader should have these three traits. First, a good leader should be eloquent. A good leader should be good at convincing people. And a good leader should also be good at inspiring people. For example, Theodore Roosevelt inspired his citizens during the economic crash. Theodore Roosevelt developed his ability of eloquence to persuade his citizens that the economy will become good and let his citizens to know the new policy what he is going to do next to make them feel confident.
Second, to be a good leader, a leader should listen to others opinions. Emperor Taizhong of Tang was a good example because he was good at listening to his minister - Wei Zhang's advice. Although sometimes Wei Zhang's attitude was defiant, Emperor Taizhong of Tang always accepts instead of punishing him. Emperor Taizhong of Tang used his magnanimity to listen to others and made a brilliant empire.
The third trait a leader needs is that the leader must be brave. The leader should not be afraid of facing difficulties. If the leader is afraid of facing problems, then who can solve the problems, so the leader should not be afraid of facing problems, but insist on what he should do.
According to these three traits, if you want to be a good leader, you must be eloquent, good at listening to others, and be brave. Do you want to be a leader? Then try to make these three traits be part of you.

The worst movie I’ve ever seen

Have you ever seen a horrible movie that you feel wasting your time and money after seeing it? The movie ” wanted ” is the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The movie is talking about a killer orgnization which was built in the middle age. The killer followed the instruction from spindle machine called destiny. The killer trusted it because it had ever given an instruction to kill the the bad guy, but the killer did not do it and it made a family broken. After the orgnization trained the leading role - Ben and gave him an instruction, Ben finally found that his goal is his father. Although he knew the goal is his father, everything was too late for him because he found the truth after Ben killed him.

According to the movie, the of movie is not good because people like a happy ending instead of a sad ending and the content goes too fast. The most important is that it does not have a good content instead of lots of actions. If you are are an action and animar movie fans you will like it because people in the movie keeps fighting. Because of these reasons, I think ” Wanted ” is the worst movie I’ve ever seen.

The 2008 Paralympic Games has been officially opened by Chinese President

Hu Jintao during a stunning ceremony at the Bird's Nest stadium in Beijing. 



In the three-hour spectacular show, 6,000 performers and 4,000 disabled athletes from

148 countries took part in front of 91,000 ecstatic spectators. Britain has a 206-strong

team and was led into the arena by flag-bearer Danny Crates, 800m champion in Athens. 

The action across 20 sports begins on Sunday and lasts until 17 September. The opening

spectacular featured a number of disabled actors and actresses, focusing on themes of

space, time and life. What was unusual about the ceremony is that the athletes entered

the stadium first and then watched the performances together with the audience. 

"We present two Games of equal splendour as a solemn commitment to the entire world," said

organiser Wang Wei. About an hour into the extravaganza, a female spectator broke through

the security cordon and made it onto the main arena. She was immediately removed by security

staff. This was the first security breach to occur during the Olympics and Paralympics in

Beijing. At the heart of the phenomenal show was Li Yue, a 12-year-old ballerina who lost

her left leg in the Sichuan earthquake in May. She received a huge ovation as she conducted

a group of ballerinas with hearing impairment before being held aloft. One of the biggest

cheers of the evening was for China's 332 athletes entering the arena with Chinese President

Hu Jintao looking on with admiration. The host team is nearly certain to top the medal table. 

International Paralympic Committee president Philip Craven promised the Games would be truly

memorable. "During the 12 days of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games you will realise that

the differences that you might have thought existed in the world are in fact, far less

apparent," he said. "You will see that we are all people of one world." Britain's 206-strong

team were the 80th nation to enter the stadium and were led by athlete Crates, a three-time

Paralympian and the defending T46 800 metres champion. The likes of wheelchair athlete Dave

Weir, who won silver and bronze in 2004, is competing in five events, while Welshman Dave

Roberts has the chance to overhaul Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson's tally of 11 golds. 

In the Laoshan Velodrome, British cyclist Jody Cundy is hoping to emulate Chris Hoy's

historic Olympic achievement of three golds. Natalie du Toit, who finished 16th in the

women's 10km marathon swim in last month's Olympics, led the South African team to become

the first person to carry a country's flag at the opening ceremony of both the Olympics

and Paralympics. She lost her lower left leg in a scooter accident seven years ago, won

five golds and one silver in Athens, and is expected to dominate in the pool. Team-mate

and double amputee Oscar Pistorius - dubbed "Blade Runner" - is also expected to star. 

The Chinese President officially declared the 13th Paralympic Games open before the crowd

watched in amazement as gold medallist Hou Bin, in a wheelchair, pulled himself up on a

rope to the roof of the stadium to light the flame. The Team Test in the equestrian taking

place in Hong Kong is the first taste of Paralympic action on Sunday. Officials say that

more than one million tickets have been sold for the Paralympic events so far and are

expecting one million more to be sold.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

The book- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a for children, so it full a lot of childlike and quaint kinds of thought.

The writer- ROALD DAHL began writing children’s story in 1960 while living in England with his family. And his first stories were written as entertainment for his own children. And I think the writer is similar to the leading role- Willy Wonka, I guess the writer is writing himself at Willy Wonka. I think it is pretty funny.

This book shows us how marvelous the Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory is. The story is talking about Willy Wonka closed his factory after his employees stole his recipe and built their own factories. Willy Wonka opened his factory again and decided to invent five children to visit his factory. Then all people in every countries started to find the five golden tickets in order to visit the factory. The leading role- Charlie Bucket who lives in a poor family got the last golden tickets before the deadline. Charlie went to the factory with his grandpa Joe who told Charlie the story about the chocolate factory everyday. The other lucky winners are a fat and greedy Augustus who fell into the chocolate pool and a girl who is spoiled by her parents Veruca Salt and she went to the nut room instead of following the role. And the boy who likes to watch TV Mike was sent by television the girl Violet who likes to chewing gum all the time tried the new gum which is not right and safe to eat without Willy Wonka’s agreement. In the beginning the gum is delicious, but it is not right to eat yet, therefore Violet became swelling like a balloon and she tuned into purple like a blueberry. In the end, only Charlie anf his grandpa Joe left. After taking lots of tests, Willy Wonka decided to give Charlie his factory.

I think the story is pretty funny and it gave us a lot of new idea. It also tells us that we should not be too greedy and just take what we need and do not be too obstinately or maybe we may have some bad consequences. And I think it is a good book to share with others.

Do you think it is a good idea for teenagers to have a job while they are students? If you think it is good for you to have jobs while you are a student, after hearing my opinions I think you may change your mind. There are three reasons to support my opinions. First, if we spend too much time doing jobs, you will have less time to study on our school works. If you have a lot of exams and homewoks tomorrow, but you also have to work today, then you will have no time to study. After a hard working, you have to stay up to finish them. According yo this two reasons having jobs while you are a student will break your living work and rest and your grades may become worse.

Second, you may have some family relationship conflicts and problems with your members. Your parents may worry about when will you come home or are the places safe where you go. If you come home too late, your parents may blame on you because of their anxious and if our grades become worser, your parents may argue with you about quiting your jobs.

Finally, although you can learn a lot of new skills from different jobs, but actually you are not good at those things that you had learned. For example, when you are working in a drinks shop, you just know how many ingredients you should put in, but you actually don’t understand how to make and use the elements in different ways and you don’t know where you can buy these things. You just know these new things, but you haven’t learned some useful things from your jobs.

According to the three opinions, I think it is not a good idea for teenagers to have jobs while they are still students.

A lessom I learned

Have you ever thought that to win a prize is the most important part in a contest? This happened to me before our English drama contest. Let me tell you how I used to think about contests and how it changed me.

Before the English drama contest, I alwas thought that to win a prize is the most important part in a contest. In traditional Taiwan education, winning a prize and achieving honor is much more important than the process. In other words, I rarely thought about emphasized the process. I just did what I should do and fulfill my obligation. I didn’t even care about it.

After we started preparing for our English drama, I understood the meaning in a contest. One day, we gathered all players to practice our drama. Miracle of the gathering, all of the players appeared. Our director guided us how to express our emotion and taught us how to speak more clearly. Although we didn’t win the champion, we had done our best.

From then on, I learned one thing that winning isn’t the most important thing during a contest, instead of the process.

A future lawyer

Steven has a wonderful personality. There are many jobs suitable for him, but if he could only have one job, it would be a lawyer.

The first reason is thst Steven is rational. He always find out reasons of problems before he makes decisions and he likes to analyze how things happans. Steven also keeps himself calm all the time, so he won’t be influenced by his feelings. With this personality, Steven always thinks twice before taking any action.

The second is that Steven is sesitive about details. Steven can always know the differences between two things which are similar. With this personality, Steven can determine things correctly all the time.

The third is that Steven is eloquent. Steven is good at persuading other persuading other people. He could always let other people trust what he says. Because of the three reasons I think being a lawyer will be a good choice for him.
